Epstein Mama Blog: Pink and White Day

My name is Katie Epstein. I am married to my awesome husband Matty and we have 2 great kids. I am lucky enough to stay at home with our kids and be their mom, friend, playmate, taxi service, teacher and more. I love our life in Camarillo and adore having friends and family close by.

Matty is our A + dad , father and husband. When not at work (or traveling for work), he will be found at the beach surfing, hitting the road for run, the pool for swim, mulching in our garden, coaching soccer, playing tickle monster, putting Cassidy to sleep (so he can get a nap too), or ...did I mention surfing. We of course love him and hope you get to know him a bit better while reading this blog.

Kaden:

"Mom...did you know that our driveway is a simple machine?"

Mom replies: Huh?

Kaden: Yep...it's a simple machine. It is a ramp that makes things move easier up and down than stairs...so it is a simple machine!
Mom: Well...okay then!

Cassidy:

Dear Jesus...Thank you for...under god indivisible and liberty and justice for all. Amen

"Mom, my ankle is hurt from the bike, my neck is hurt, and I have a scratch. My body is falling apart!"

Cassidy:

"Kaden, I got to go to Pre-K today,...can you teach me how to do homework...'cause I don't know how to do homework."
